Channel Focus 2015 for Channel Strategies

Channel Focus is the leading series of conferences dealing with channel marketing and sales issues for senior executives in the cfnatechnology and telecom industries and Perks | Channel is very excited to be participating. Channel Focus North America with Latin America 2015 will bring together over 300 channel executives gathered to explore the issues affecting the technology and telecom industry in 2015 and beyond!  At Channel Focus 2015 we expect to enjoy lively debates and great networking with IT/Telecom channel chiefs. But probably most important of all, as a Channel Focus 2015 delegate you will take away real strategies and tactics that you can build into your own programs to increase your sales, and improve the focus and effectiveness of your channel partners.

Real world channel strategies

Channel Focus 2015 addresses real world channel strategies that work, presented by people who have actually made them work – not just in technology but from other industries that we can all learn from. You typically take away dozens of ideas that can immediately apply to your own situation. We hear from channel experts, including some of my colleagues like Deb Broderson and you come away with checklists to help you implement or enhance channel programs. Channel Focus 2015 features an unparalleled combination of informative presentations and interactive workshops that will enable you to come back and start making meaningful enhancements in your own strategies and programs. Don’t miss it! BTW, I am presenting a session that you don’t want you to miss: Incenting Partners in both the Traditional and Cloud models – The Americas Perspective. This session will help you better understand that how the channel was nurturing and quantifying partner loyalty is not as effective as in prior years. Vendors offer a huge amount of incentives to channel partners, but if not applied correctly, these dollars won’t change partner behavior. Incentive programs should create the alignment to the new business models that partners really need right now. At my session I will share:

  • Best practices and current trends in channel incentives, from tactical sales incentives to strategic and global channel incentive strategies.
  • How incentive programs can provide appropriate rewards for reseller partners, hybrid partners and born-in-the-cloud partners.
  • A review of various incentive program types, from volume, value, behavioral and tactical incentives, to stretch goals.
  • The use of analytics to model and measure the incremental effect of incentives of Rewards Programs, MDF, Co-Op, Rebates and SPIFs.

All in all this will be an important session to better understand how to best utilize the incentive budget portion of your channel spend and how this can work for you on a global basis. See you soon in Miami, Florida at Channel Focus 2015, on April 20th, 21st & 22nd. Let me know if you have any questions.  I look forward to seeing you there!
